Eiffage Construction's Eastern Region teams take a new direction with the switch to 100% electric mobility

Construction Division

For more than 10 years, Eiffage Construction has been working to promote the ecological transition by making low-carbon actions a central part of its strategy. More generally, the Group's strategy aims to develop new low-carbon offerings by developing and imagining economical, high-performance solutions designed to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of tomorrow's cities.

Eiffage Construction's Eastern Region teams are no exception to the rule, as evidenced by the design and construction of a biomass power plant in Novillars to replace the Fessenheim nuclear plant. More recently, the construction of the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (CIGV) eco-district in Dijon, France, by reusing 100% of the rubble from the demolition of the site as a platform and roadway, bears witness to the Group's desire to work towards a low-carbon future.

Today, the commitment of our teams in the East region is taking a new turn with the gradual transition to 100% electric mobility. By 2030, a reduction of nearly 50% in CO2 emissions is expected.

The regional management therefore organized a day of presentation of 100% electric vehicles to its employees. The aim of this event was to inform and raise awareness among our teams of the need to adopt soft mobility methods. What better way to distance oneself from prejudices than to take a ride in an electric vehicle?
More than 50 employees were able to discover the vehicles of Dijon's car dealerships. Many thanks to Volkswagen ByMyCar Dijon, Hyundai Dijon, Peugeot Dijon and Volvo Nudant Automobiles.
