The head office is a model of energy efficiency, with its photovoltaic solar facilities for the production of electrical power, an aerothermal solar facility and a biomass plant to produce thermal energy.
In addition to these green energy production facilities, the building boasts a stormwater recovery system for watering, full LED lighting provided with a DALI light management system (40% energy savings compared with the previous lights), 10 charging points for electric vehicles and a BMS for the monitoring, control and smart management of the building.
The energy produced by the photovoltaic solar facilities (60 kW of installed capacity) is intended for the site’s self-produced electricity consumption and smart load management system storage batteries. Eiffage Energía’s new head office also has a domestic hot water system comprising a solar collector and aerothermal boiler (with total capacity of 16 kW). Hot water from these two systems is accumulated in order to supply the building’s toilets and cloakrooms.
250 employees are based at Eiffage Energía’s head office, which was inaugurated on 14 January 2019. A further 3,300 people work for our subsidiary throughout Spain.
