The general acceptance of the Infrastructure batch of the Ariane 6 Launch Complex (ELA4) was pronounced on July 17 by the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), in the presence of the European Space Agency (ESA) and ArianeGroup.

ESA expressed its satisfaction with the work carried out by the ECLAIR6 consortium led by Eiffage Génie Civil, while CNES described the work as remarkable and added that this project was now a new reference for the European space industry.

This operation, won in July 2016 by Eiffage Génie Civil and its partners, Eiffage Métal, SEH Engineering, Eiffage Infra Guyane, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Clemessy, Axima and ICOP, included the construction of all the ELA4 structures, including the launch pad with its two flame trenches, the 6,000-tonne, 90-metre-high mobile service gantry and the BAL launcher assembly building. Works requiring the installation of 60,000 cubic metres of concrete, 7,000 tonnes of reinforcement, 400,000 cubic metres of earthworks and 7,500 tonnes of structural steel.
