Safety is Eiffage Group’s absolute priority and is now part of everyday working life for all our employees. The awards obtained one after the other by our Hauts de France Regional Division teams confirm Energie Systèmes Branch’s commitment to risk prevention.

Every year, each ExxonMobil site rewards those companies with the best track record in safety performance. The award winners of the Midstream Fuels France Division’s four French depots (Toulouse, Lyon SPR, Villette de Vienne et Villeneuve le Roi SPVM) came to receive their prizes during a national ceremony organized in Toulouse. All in all, twelve companies won awards, including our Verquin branch (62) which received the highest honour of all: the Midstream 2018 Tigre d’Or (Golden Tiger). This prize was handed over by Timothy Long, Operations Director for ExxonMobil’s European, African and Middle Eastern petroleum depots. It recognizes our team’s professionalism, sense of initiative and safety performance. The Midstream Tigres d’Or 2018 Ceremony was organized by Esso France’s Logistics Division. “It was first and foremost a team effort” said Pietro Calvagna.

We congratulate our Hauts de France Regional Division employees on this new distinction. They have shown once again this year that we can meet our challenges and complete our assignments while keeping everyone safe. We should also point out that our teams have won yet another award. The SHE Award is a safety trophy which has rewarded 13 years of working together with our customer DSM Nutritional Products France, without a single accident.  « Twelve to twenty people work permanently on the DSM site. Maintenance is carried out 365 days a year, and we also have an onsite design and engineering department. The SHE Award has rewarded over 300,000 hours of work. Recently, we even moved an entire unit on the site, and it all went very well!” said Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Business Manager Daniel Hoornaert, deployed on the DSM site.
