Eiffage sponsors the 2017 promotion of the “École d'application aux métiers des travaux publics d`Égletons” (Public Works Trades School)

Sponsorship of the Pierre Berger promotion was launched on 26 January 2017

For the past 70 years, the “École d'application aux métiers des travaux publics d`Égletons” (EATP), based in the Corrèze region, has been training professionals in the public works trades. The 2017 promotion, named the Pierre Berger promotion in honour of Eiffage's former president and CEO, is made up of 433 young people, including 218 EATP students (full-time education) and 215 EFIATP trainees and apprentices (work-linked training). They will all graduate in June 2017.

These young people will have received the following training:
•        CAP - Public works and quarry machinery operator (EATP/EFIATP)
•        CAP - Road construction (EFIATP)
•        CAP - Pipeline construction (EFIATP)
•        Road and network construction professional certificate (EFIATP)
•        Bac Pro - Public works (EATP / EFIATP)
•        Bac Pro - Equipment maintenance, public works and handling option (EATP)
•        BTS - Public works (EATP / EFIATP)
•        BTS - Maintenance and after-sales of public works machinery and handling (EFIATP)

The first highlight of this sponsorship scheme was a presentation on the Eiffage Group given by Patrick-Charles Francqueville, director of human resources at the Infrastructures division, to the 218 future EATP graduates on 26 January 2017.

Eiffage is also participating in the Égletons forum taking place on 15 and 16 February 2017, and attended by the main schools: EATP, EFIATP, CFC Sylvain Joyeux, Lycée Pierre Caraminot, IUT of Limoges, University of Limoges, etc.

A visit to construction sites for all EATP graduates is also being organised for the first two weeks of March.
Finally, the EATP / EFIATP 2017 promotion graduation ceremony is being held on 20 May 2017 at Égletons, and will be attended by graduates' families, as well as representatives from the school, FNTP and Eiffage, including Benoît de Ruffray.
