Eiffage Foundation: rebuilding bikes and qualification courses in Toulouse

Operational since early 2018 thanks to support from the Eiffage Foundation, the Cycles-Re association collects and rebuilds bikes with the help of people on integration schemes. Those people then go on to jobs in sectors experiencing manpower shortages such as industry, aerospace or cycle mechanics.

The Cycles-Re is an integration project that collects and rebuilds damaged bikes. It enables 5 to 10 employees on integration schemes to follow pre-qualification courses for jobs in sectors experiencing manpower shortages such as industry, aerospace and cycle mechanics.
To kick-start its activity in early 2018, the association moved to new premises and invested in industrial machinery. The Eiffage Foundation provided support (investment in an industrial paint booth). Yvan Calle, prevention and safety engineer and Alex Guipaud, accident prevention trainer, both at Eiffage Construction, were involved in the project.
