The 12 active volunteers of the Réavie association are professionals from the construction industry who promote the recycling and re-use of construction site waste, while helping to integrate people alienated from the workplace.
The association is launching a pilot platform to recover materials from the demolition of the Ecole Centrale engineering school in Châtenay-Malabry (Hauts-de-Seine). The materials are collected, sorted, repaired and reconditioned, and then sold to associations or people on low incomes. Some are up-cycled by the sewing and carpentry workshops. The Foundation is helping to buy materials for those workshops.
Several Eiffage Group employees are involved in the project, such as employee project supporters M'Hamed Ahmimid, draughtsman/designer at Eiffage Energie Systèmes and Isabelle Dessuet, assistant/communication manager at Eiffage Construction.
