In Mantes-la-Jolie, a new project to serve the security forces

In Mantes-la-Jolie (78), our teams have won a new design-build contract for the construction of a gendarmerie and 58 staff accommodations, with an approach combining environmental performance and quality of use.

The program is based on a clear organization, distinguishing between two complementary but independent entities: the gendarmerie to the west of the site and the staff housing to the east. This separation guarantees both the operational efficiency of the public facility and the tranquility of the residential areas.

The gendarmerie was designed to meet the specific requirements of a public safety facility. Organized around a central service courtyard, it allows for optimized management of the flow of people, personnel, and vehicles. The public areas combine a welcoming atmosphere with confidentiality, while the technical and secure zones are clearly marked.

To the east, the 58 staff accommodations blend harmoniously into their residential surroundings thanks to their layout in four separate blocks. The accommodations benefit from optimized thermal comfort.

From an environmental perspective, the project complies with the requirements of the RE2020 2025 standard. Bioclimatic design, high-performance building envelope, and the use of hybrid energy systems combining heat pumps and gas allow for controlled energy consumption and a reduced carbon footprint. The choice of materials, including a significant proportion of low-carbon concrete and products with a low environmental impact, contributes to this overall objective.

Designed with a forward-looking approach, the project also incorporates the objectives of the tertiary sector decree, with an ambitious energy performance target for the gendarmerie. This approach guarantees, from today, compliance with tomorrow's challenges.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with delivery expected by the end of 2028.

A big congratulations to our teams in Yvelines for this new project!
