Located in Woippy (57140), the Saint-Éloy district is entering a decisive stage of its transformation with the launch of its final phase of rehabilitation. This ambitious project aims to revitalize this residential area.
The operation involves the rehabilitation of 523 housing units spread across 15 buildings, representing a total area of more than 35,000 m².
Carried out on an occupied site, the works incorporate technical and organizational challenges in order to guarantee the comfort of the inhabitants throughout the construction.
From an environmental perspective, the project aims for BBCA certification. To achieve this, the group has prioritized an approach based on preserving existing, still-performing equipment, such as boilers or certain insulation elements, in order to avoid premature removal. This approach is complemented by an ambitious strategy for reusing and repurposing the removed materials: transforming wood and metal elements into outdoor furniture, reusing sanitary equipment, or even converting planters into landscaping features.
The operation is also distinguished by the implementation of technical solutions, notably the installation of 184 self-supporting metal balconies to improve the comfort of the housing.
The project also incorporates a strong social component: a “test business” approach will be deployed in partnership with local actors to promote entrepreneurship, while a solidarity concierge service will offer residents local services, activities and daily support.
Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and delivery is expected by the end of 2028.
At peak activity the construction site will mobilize nearly 70 workers and will incorporate more than 18,000 hours of integration.
A huge congratulations to the teams for this meaningful new contract!
