Toulouse metro: TBM Jeanne Marvig completes its second breakthrough

The Jeanne Marvig tunnel boring machine (TBM) has successfully completed its second breakthrough, breaking through the diaphragm wall of the future Fontaine Lumineuse station.

The machine has now excavated over 1,650 meters of the 3,854 meters planned from its starting point at the Colomiers Gare shaft.

The TBM is now advancing towards the Saint-Martin du Touch station, with the final objective of reaching the Laporte shaft.

We wish the Jeanne Marvig TBM and its crew continued success for the remainder of their journey.
