Sauveteurs Sans Frontière: an application which saves lives

Eiffage's Infrastructure Branch has joined forces with Sauveteurs Sans Frontière or SSF (Rescuers without Borders) an NGO specialized in emergency first aid and medical relief. In September 2016, SSF launched a mobile app which connects rescue workers and victims instantaneously. By downloading the app you can geolocate and alert first aiders close at hand in the event of an accident, while informing the emergency services at the same time.

How does it work?

If you witness or are involved in a traffic, domestic or workplace accident, a terrorist attack or natural disaster requiring medical aid, click on "J'ALERTE". The app will warn the emergency services immediately and at the same time, will connect you with one or several rescue workers located within 500 m of the scene. If you are a rescue worker, doctor, emergency physician, pharmacist, nurse or simple first-aider, sign up now! You will receive an alert if emergency help is needed close at hand, and will be able to contact the victim via a localized itinerary and save a life.

How do I sign up on the SSF app?

The SSF app is available for iOS and Android from AppStore and Google Play. Users and first-aiders can download it and sign up free or charge. This app is for everyone!
Available online at ssfapplication.com and sauveteurs.org.
