Presented in the category "Partnership with local communities", the project focused on welcoming high school students for the realization of two "nature" projects in favour of biodiversity. One to maintain a pond favourable to amphibians; the other to transform a blockhouse from the Second World War into a doghouse. This is an opportunity for young people to discover the world of quarries and to participate in simple actions to develop and maintain biodiversity.
The awards ceremony will take place in Brussels on 20 November 2019. To be continued...
