Ævia secures a suspension bridge in Viterbe (81).

Infrastructures Division

In the Tarn region, at the heart of the Pays de Cocagne, our teams from Ævia, specialized in structure repair, have just begun the work to secure a suspension bridge built in the 1930s.

This intervention aims to allow the temporary reopening of the structure while waiting for the work to replace the main cables to begin.

The agenda includes the replacement of three hangers and the repositioning of two others.

The goal, after several months of closure to traffic: to reopen the structure, which crosses the Agout river and connects Viterbe to Fiac, by mid-May, under safe conditions.
