Eiffage, sponsor of the LPO
In front of pressures which weigh more and more on the biodiversity and in particular the negative consequences caused(provoked) by the increasing articialisation of grounds, the fragmentation of territories and the destruction of the natural ecosystems, Eiffage wishes to extend its environmental commitment by supporting the actions(shares) of the LPO. The convention of sponsorship signed between Eiffage and the LPO will allow to support the projects implemented by the association on the theme biodiversity of closeness and town planning.
So, Eiffage becomes partner of the said Club «Urbanisme, Bâti et Biodiversité " U2B developed since 2013 by the LPO. This program aims at stimulating the exchanges between structures public and deprived of the sector of the town planning and the construction, around exemplary experience feedback to bring to the foreground concrete and innovative solutions in favour of the biodiversity in town.
 
Support by the LPO of four Eiffage projects.
Thanks to this partnership and to the allowance of an annual dedicated budget, four projects of Eiffage can benefit from services which will be realized by the LPO on the French territory for an entity of the Group.
It can be the one or several of the following services:
- Support in the reflection on the commitments biodiversity of Eiffage;
- Operational support on the sector "biodiversity" of certain projects, mainly real estate;
- Raising awareness of the employees of Eiffage in region on the theme of the protection of the urban biodiversity in connection with actions LPO.
 
The first project proposed in the LPO within the framework of this convention of service (service n°2) will be the future eco-district LaVallée situated in Châtenay-Malabry (Hauts-de-Seine). The LPO will so accompany Eiffage in any phases of the project LaVallée in particular on three axes:

• The technical advice to integrate the biodiversity in build and in spaces-green;
• The raising awareness and the information of the professionals of the built (architect, works foremen, landscape painter);
• The ecological follow-up of the site in phase exploitation.

This exemplary project in environmental term will aim in particular at the new label Biodivercíty Ready ®.
