The operation required the manual demolition of a 42-meter chimney, the removal of the elevator machinery, and the dismantling of the tower using a 974 high-reach excavator under dust suppression mist.
Heavy-duty protection was installed around a live electrical transformer that supplied the neighborhood, in addition to the placement of peripheral concrete blocks.
The removal of 5,000 tons of concrete was concentrated in August, during the summer holidays, to preserve the tranquility of the neighboring school.
Congratulations to all the teams on the ground for their high standards and expertise!
An operation carried out on behalf of Adoma CDC Habitat (Client) and CoBe Architecture et Paysage (Project Manager), in partnership with Désamiantage France Démolition (DFD) and A.D.T.L.
