Veytaux 2 on the edge of Lake Geneva was designed to increase the original plant's pumped storage power. It uses the same hydraulic infrastructure and has a 480 MW capacity.
After carrying out preliminary studies on the site, our teams supplied and installed six fresh air fans and two smoke extraction fans, and also took charge of the associated dampers and metalwork. They went on to install and commission electrical supply and control cabinets for the ventilation and smoke extraction system in the new tunnels.
The works began in January 2016 and were completed in March 2017.
