Idesya, the new complex in the real estate programme of Belval, an innovation and education hub in the heart of Luxembourg
Designed by architecture firms Dietrich Untertrifaller Architectes (Austria) and BFF… (Luxembourg), the Idesya project is located on the Place des Bassins, in the heart of Belval, an iconic district on a former brownfield site in the south of the country conceived by the developer Agora (a joint venture between the Luxembourg State and ArcelorMittal) in the 2000s.
Featuring an elegant, airy architecture, Idesya comprises three apartment buildings: two sold to the Ministry of Housing and a third named Chantehaut. The latter offers a range of homes, from studios to five-room units, as well as retail and office space as well as 154 parking spaces.
Connected to the district heating network and equipped with photovoltaic panels, the buildings will target an AA+ energy performance rating. Future residents will also benefit from shared amenities: a rooftop garden, a multipurpose room, shared terraces, a guest apartment, and a community concierge service run by Récipro-Cité, a player recognised for its expertise in managing collaborative spaces and fostering social ties.
Construction is set to start at the end of 2025, with completion scheduled for summer 2028.
