- One of France’s largest floating solar farms, with a capacity of 38 MWp: designed in partnership with Ciel & Terre, the facility will be integrated into the lake while protecting biodiversity and ensuring compatibility with the local water sports centre. The design includes landscaped banks and floating vegetation islands, as well as dedicated pontoons.
- A 12 MWp ground-mounted solar farm: several business models have been proposed to Vicat, including a long-term lease, a turnkey investment solution and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
- Solar carports ranging from 100 to 840 kWp: these could complement the project as part of the development of a new car park.
- A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) currently under consideration: this solution would enable Vicat to optimise its electricity costs and better align its energy supply with the quarry’s consumption needs.
The strength of Eiffage’s integrated model
This project perfectly illustrates the Group’s combined capabilities and the complementary expertise of its business lines:
- Sun’R / Eiffage Concessions: project development, land, environmental and financial engineering, contracting, and long-term operations and maintenance.
- Eiffage’s various business lines: pooling their expertise and established relationship with Vicat to deliver a comprehensive, integrated solution.
- A long-term vision: ensuring the sustainable design and operation of the photovoltaic installations.
