The contract covers the technical design, manufacturing, and installation of 1,125 prefabricated timber-frame modules, essential for the development of electrical substations. Their on-site assembly will enable the construction of 450 buildings. The project will involve the 70 branches of the Works & Services division located throughout France.
RTE has launched a major industrial program to modernize the grid, aiming to adapt existing infrastructure to climate change and enable the electrification of the country. The modules supplied will allow the integration of medium and very high voltage equipment, meeting the complex technical requirements of RTE's sites.
The timber frame walls will be produced in Savare's factories located in Moult, Normandy.
The assembly of the wood/concrete elements as well as the implementation of the technical and secondary trades will be carried out in the factory by the Eiffage Construction teams in the Bordeaux region.
The first deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
This market is part of the development strategy for fully industrialized construction solutions led by Eiffage Construction, thus affirming the commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and process control, from design to delivery.
A huge congratulations to our Travaux & Services teams for this new contract!
