Eiffage Foundation: access to employment for people with epilepsy in the Drôme

For 160 years, La Teppe has been supporting adults with epilepsy from all over France at its neurological centre in Tain-l'Hermitage (Drôme). With the help of the Eiffage Foundation, it is renovating and developing activities at its ESAT (French adapted care structure) that allows 68 workers who have epilepsy and/or mental health problems to access employment.

For 160 years, La Teppe has been supporting adults with epilepsy from all over France at its neurological centre in Tain-l'Hermitage (Drôme). It also runs a clinical research centre, a specialised psychiatric clinic for women, sheltered accomodation and retirement homes, an adapted enterprise and an ESAT.
The association is carrying out work to renovate and expand its ESAT. This structure enables 68 workers who have epilepsy or other mental health problems to work in an organic vegetable and plant growing enterprise and in an industrial subcontracting business.
It plans to open a grey room to develop its food packaging activities, with the support of the Eiffage Foundation and Nicolas Caisso, works supervisor at Eiffage Route.
