The first photovoltaic shade structures are coming soon to Park+

It's official! The Montbartier car park will soon be equipped to convert sunlight into electricity. This exciting project symbolizes the synergy between several Eiffage entities.

Light generates electricity...

The Montbartier site, near Toulouse, was chosen for this first project. The goal? To cover the 224 secure parking spaces for heavy goods vehicles with photovoltaic shade structures... and generate electricity that will be sold in its entirety to Enedis. Connected to the grid next summer, this brand-new power plant will have a capacity of 4.8 MWp (megawatts peak). Enough to power 1,700 homes instantly!

Family spirit

This extraordinary project is being carried out entirely by Eiffage and its subsidiaries. Commitment, collective intelligence, and expertise have made it possible to get the photovoltaic power plant off the ground. But who does what?

  • ROUTASUN, created in 2023, is managing the €5.7 million investment.
  • SUN’R, a subsidiary of Eiffage Concessions, was responsible for developing the project and is overseeing the construction of the plant as project management assistant.
  • Eiffage Énergie Systèmes - Énergies Renouvelables Aquitaine is responsible for design and construction.
  • APRR is providing the land and managing the car park with Park+.

This synergy of talents both accelerates projects and makes them more competitive. A collective success that inspires others!
