Prevention – reaching the “1,000 Days” target

"We want to reward operational units that successfully reach the target of 1,000 consecutive days without an accident leading to a work stoppage. And it's possible, here’s the proof!", Xavier Rigo rejoiced.
The Annecy maintenance and toll centre and the Massif Central toll agency have succeeded in reaching this goal and surpassing it.

The Haute-Savoie and the Massif Central on the double.
These two motorway operator teams had already distinguished themselves at the Challenge des Métiers Eiffage 2016, on 20 March last at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris, with the special jury prize being awarded to the Haute-Savoie team and the Massif Central team walking off with a nomination.
The Champagne & Lorraine toll agency, the third unit to win the 1,000 Days challenge, did not have a single accident with stoppage from May 30, 2013 until December 30, 2016. And the counter was still reading zero, on the day of the awards ceremony on May 16, 2017.
Finaly, the Belfort-Montbéliard operator team won the gold ribbon for its global results as far as safety at work is concerned.
