Eiffage Energie Systèmes pursues its European growth strategy with the acquisition of Salvia Group GmbH

Sector Énergie

Eiffage Energie Systèmes has completed the acquisition of 51% of Salvia Group GmbH. Based in the Stuttgart region of Germany, the company covers the entire technical life cycle of buildings and specialises in electrical, HVAC and energy engineering, as well as maintenance.

Founded in 2008 as a family business, Salvia Group GmbH employs more than 1,600 people and has achieved sales of almost €350 million in 2022. With 28 locations
the company operates throughout Germany, primarily in the service and industrial sectors. The company is also at the forefront of supporting its customers' energy and digital transitions.

Eiffage Energie Systèmes already has three major subsidiaries in the country: Elomech in the east, Schwarz and Grantz in the north and Nat in the south, with a total workforce of nearly 1,400. By 2022, it will have generated sales of more than €200 million in Germany. As the fifth acquisition made by Eiffage Energie Systèmes in Europe by 2023, after Gain Automation, VSK Kastenbouw, Safety Service (in the Netherlands) and Pulsar Consulting (in Belgium), this new transaction will enable the Division to pursue its external growth strategy and significantly strengthen its position in Germany, where it now has a national player to drive business development in the country.

More broadly, it consolidates Eiffage's development strategy in Europe, which aims to increase its territorial coverage and strengthen its expertise. In Germany, the Group currently employs 5,400 people at more than 40 sites, generating sales of €1.4 billion by 2022 through its building, civil engineering, road, rail, metal, energy systems and concessions activities, particularly in the area of motorway PPPs.
