Eiffage Construction will bring its recognized expertise and know-how in carrying out complex rehabilitation projects to successfully complete the renovation works of the 'Le Star' cinema, one of the oldest cinemas in Cannes. These will include the renovation of the building's south facade, as well as the modernization of the auditoriums and the creation of commercial spaces on the ground floor.

The Star, located at 98 Rue d'Antibes in the heart of Cannes, is a cinema created in 1913 and closed in January 2016. The renovation project, won by Eiffage Construction, will begin in February 2024 and involves the creation of four modern screening rooms (with a total capacity of 539 seats), spaces for hosting debates and meetings around cinema during the Cannes International Film Festival (CIFF), as well as the creation of commercial premises.

In a commitment to preserving the architectural heritage, our teams pledge to preserve the facade facing the pedestrian street, which will host a new store, while making the necessary improvements to meet the modernization needs of the infrastructure.

The project's completion is scheduled for the second half of 2025.
