Eiffage Publishes its 2024 Climate Report

Grupa Eiffage

Eiffage continues its commitment to climate action and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by publishing its 5th climate report.

The Eiffage Climate Report

In 2020, the Group adopted the European Union's roadmap for corporate climate reporting and aligned itself with the 1.5° trajectory set by the Paris Agreement in 2015. Since then, the Group has published its annual climate report, reflecting its commitments, strategy, and the international reporting method known as "TCFD" (Task Force on Climate-related Disclosures), created in 2017 by the G20.

The 2024 Climate Report

In October 2023, the Group had its short-term emission reduction targets validated by the SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative) and committed to a long-term ambition of "net zero" by 2050. The new climate report presents:

  • The commitments of the Group's executive management and its greenhouse gas emission reduction targets by 2030 across the entire value chain;
  • Biodiversity and circular economy strategies intertwined with low-carbon ambitions;
  • Actions taken in each sector with their potential for emission reductions;
  • Efforts to ensure the reliability of non-financial data, aligning with the transparency requirements of the European CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), applicable from the next fiscal year;
  • Annual greenhouse gas emissions in France and internationally for scopes 1, 2, and 3 upstream and downstream, as well as the tracking of the trajectory in France and internationally.
