Eiffage Énergie Systèmes installs EVCS for Powerdot and Fastned in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region

Energy Division

Powerdot and Fastned are two European operators specializing in the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in supermarket car parks and motorway service areas. These third-party investors have called on our EVCS experts to install turnkey fast-charging stations in the Côte-d'Or (21) and Saône-et-Loire (71) departments, and soon in the Yonne (89).

Eiffage's Energy branch specializes in the turnkey installation of charging points and stations throughout France, with a special focus on the EVCS market enabling us to coordinate our responses to national calls for tender. In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, our experts have installed super-stations for Powerdot and Fastned, two European players in fast charging. Having signed agreements with supermarkets or motorway concession operators, these third-party investors are counting on their facilities paying for themselves through the number of vehicles recharged. It's a win-win situation that meets growing customer demand.

"The stations we’ve installed for Powerdot enable a vehicle to be recharged in half an hour or an hour, in the time it takes to do a little shopping at the host supermarket. While the electric recharging station we set up for Fastned on the APRR motorway service area at Gevrey-Chambertin can be refuelled in less than 20 minutes with recharging points of up to 300 kW, just long enough to have a coffee. In other words, we can adapt the type of charge to suit the intended use," explained Infrastructure Department Manager Stéphane Merle.

Our specialists have installed a super-station equipped with photovoltaic shades for Fastned on the APRR network near Dijon, and five stations for Powerdot in supermarket car parks. Three new stations in Mâcon, Saône-et-Loire (71), and another in Migennes, Yonne (89), have already been agreed with Powerdot.
